The D'Esopo Funeral Chapels in Wethersfield and East Hartford, Connecticut were founded in 1905 by Joseph D'Esopo. They remain family owned and operated to this day. Both locations have been Nationally Recognized for Excellence by being awarded the National Funeral Director's Pursuit of Excellence Emeritus Award. This distinction indicates that our funeral homes meet the highest standards set forth by their profession in providing compassionate service, community and library resources, excelling in technical skills and professional development, and exceeding in community bereavement resources.
